Margaret Lauren, M.A., LMFT

Margaret graduated from Pepperdine University with a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and received her B.A. degree in Philosophy from Scripps College, attended U.C. Davis Law School and completed post-graduate studies in Education at CSULA. She comes with a wealth of experience in both the private and public sector.

Margaret completed her practicum and internship at La Vie Counseling Center under the direction of Dr. Mark Baker and continues to practice at La Vie as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is currently a clinical supervisor to La Vie’s Marriage and Family Interns and Practicum students. She also has a private practice in Marina del Rey.

She is a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists), a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), and is on the referral panel of New Life Treatment Centers. She is certified in Prepare/Enrich. She also volunteers at the Westside Pregnancy Clinic.
