Kelsey Sima, M.A., LMFT

As an agent of change, Kelsey helps her clients create the life and relationships they want by aiding them in identifying and overcoming emotional and mental barriers. She is passionate about helping people become more emotionally, relationally, and spiritually whole through the nurturing environment that is therapy. Kelsey completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in 2014 and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has training in attachment-based couples therapy from Milan and Kay Yerkovich, the authors of How We Love. She also is certified in Prepare Enrich, a premarital curriculum and assessment tool. Kelsey finds wisdom in the enneagram, a spiritual growth tool, and uses the tool with clients who desire to incorporate it into therapy.

Outside of the world of therapy Kelsey has years of experience with children in school, ministry, and childcare settings. Kelsey has a passion for creative arts and received her bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts at Vanguard University of Southern California before pursuing the field of psychology. Kelsey grew up as a pastor’s kid and has inherited a desire to walk with people who want to develop their relationship with God through therapy.
