Important! Your appointment request is subject to therapist availability and further confirmation.
Euodia Choi is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with adults, adolescents, children, and couples under the supervision of Guillermo Ulloa, #MFC-53213.
She believes that life is shaped by our relationships, which influence our sense of self and how we perceive the world. Our behaviors and emotions communicate our internal experiences, and unresolved relational trauma can lead to anxiety, depression, conflict, and even physical health issues. Euodia is dedicated to helping clients work through these challenges and guiding them toward rediscovering joy, meaning, and a renewed sense of self.
Her approach is trauma-informed, integrating attachment-based therapy, body awareness, and mindfulness. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) Level 2 and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.
Euodia earned her B.A. in Anthropology from UCLA, followed by an M.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Before transitioning to psychotherapy, she spent over 17 years as a children’s pastor. She later completed her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, specializing in trauma.
Euodia is committed to providing a compassionate and inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds. While she welcomes and supports everyone, her fluency in Korean allows her to support Korean-speaking individuals and families and those from Korean cultured backgrounds.
