No two people are the same, and this notion becomes evident in therapy. Every person has a unique footprint because of the events that have occurred in their life. Therapy is a place to learn how those events have shaped you, personally, and to find the path on which to walk that is best for you. We may go through life making decisions based on what we feel others might want us to do; therapy is the space to figure out what we want without worrying about others’ perceptions of us.

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Lisa Illingsworth, LCSW #75277 accruing hours towards licensure. At La Vie, I’m supervised by Ricky V. Jackson, LMFT #83813.

I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California and received my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University.

I believe that one becomes a better clinician by learning from their clients. As I gain a deeper understanding of this field, I am fortifying my clinical skills and therapeutic experiences. Some areas of clinical interest include trauma and its effect on an individual’s development through their lifetime.
