Katherine Wiebe, Psy.D., Ph.D.

For over twenty years, Dr. Kate Wiebe has worked with leaders and their family members to find healthy work/life rhythms, manage stress, heal from trauma, and develop strategies for health. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English Literature, with a Biblical Studies minor, at Gordon College, Wenham, MA. She completed a Masters of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary, a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology, Personality, and Culture, at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Santa Barbara.

As a pastor and licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Wiebe works with individuals, couples, adolescents, and children, and is especially skilled in working with persons who are navigating: crises, disaster, posttraumatic stress, grief, lament, burnout, compassion fatigue, abuse, anxiety, depression, anger, faith struggles, marriage challenges or enrichment, relationship discernment, sexual challenges or addictions, and high sensory-processing sensitivity. Additionally, she works with individuals and couples preparing for or adjusting to marriage, parenting, launching, or caring for dependents.

During sessions with clients she utilizes a range of psychodynamic, analytic, relational, somatic, and solution-focused methods to explore personal background and development, identify patterns, and find effective practices for healing and growth.
